About UNIFORME

I had the idea for UNIFORME in my first year in University. I was absolutely procrastinating studying for my finals, and decided to make a Google Docs with all my favourite looks ever - look-book style. And then I thought, "this looks great, I should show it to people". One thing to know about me too is that I've been obsessed with corporate law since I knew what it meant. So I decided a basic fashion magazine was too easy, why not make it about fashion law as well. And what's fashion law without fashion business? A fashion faux pas. That's what.

So I started playing with the idea. Did I want an actual magazine, maybe a blog? I landed on a digital magazine, and created a little group of people interested. We had so much fun, we made two issues in early 2024, and eventually life happened and we pressed pause. Fast forward to now! I realized, even though everything is digital now, digital issues; not that practical... So I'll do my little thing on this blog, and that's why you're here now!

Now a lot of people were confused as to why I decided to name this project "UNIFORME". They say fashion isn't uniform, and when they hear that word they think little boxes that you have to tick every time you get dressed. People who know me know there are no boxes in my closet - half my clothes are on the floor. And when I think uniform I don't think the classic look that every little school boy and girl has to wear. In my head, it's your personal uniform, what makes you you, why your style makes sense to you. I love the name, I just had to add a "e" at the end because it's what the French would do, and voilà

I'm hoping you all love this blog of mine as much as I do. Enjoy!
